Generating content

The AI assistant writes with you, not instead of you: it drafts the first pass, sharpens a clunky paragraph, proposes the form questions you forgot — and everything it touches lands as editable text in YOUR pipeline, one Ctrl+Z from gone.

Where generation lives

SurfaceWhat the AI does
Content StudioOutlines a one-liner into sections; drafts the post; sharpens per selection
Blog editorDrafts and rewrites in place
Form BuilderBuilds the form from a description ("a project inquiry for a freelance designer")
Page builderProposes copy for blocks
Design StudioThe design agent edits the live canvas from an instruction
Support ticketsSuggests replies grounded in your docs and content

The three verbs

  1. Outline — give it a one-liner and an audience; get section headings back. Edit the skeleton BEFORE any prose exists — cheaper than editing prose.
  2. Draft — fill the outline in your tone. The output is a draft with your name on it, which is exactly why you will edit it.
  3. Sharpen — select a paragraph and tighten, de-fluff, or change register. "Cut this to two sentences for a small-business audience" works; "make it better" does not.

Instructions that work

The assistant amplifies specificity:

Tip

Feed it audience, tone and one concrete number. "Write a 150-word service blurb for anxious first-time clients, warm but not saccharine, ending with the booking link" gets a usable draft. "Write something for my services page" gets mush you will delete.

  • One instruction per pass; iterate by steering, not by re-rolling a vague prompt.
  • Point at REAL material: paste the client's words, the event details, the actual numbers. Grounded input beats adjectives.
  • Treat the first draft as scaffolding — the parts only you know (the client story, the honest result) are yours to add.

The boundaries, on purpose

  • It never publishes. Generation fills drafts; the publish click is yours (see Editing pages).
  • It never invents your facts. For claims about you — clients, results, prices — it uses your content as grounding and leaves gaps honest rather than decorating them.
  • Every edit is reversible. AI edits flow through the normal editor pipeline with undo and versions; nothing bypasses the draft state.

Quota and meters

Generation draws from your plan's AI quota — meters show remaining usage next to each AI tool, and running out degrades honestly: the button shows the limit instead of failing silently (see Privacy & limits).

Note

The assistant is a colleague who types very fast and has no memories of its own: brilliant with specifics, dangerous with vagueness, and never the one who signs the work. Give it real inputs; keep the judgment.
