Day 47 — The launch that almost did not happen

We launched the Calm Dashboard redesign today. Two hours before launch, an engineer found a keyboard trap in the modal flow. We almost shipped it. We did not — we delayed by 90 minutes and fixed it.

This is why accessibility has to be a foundation, not a feature. If we had not been testing with keyboard-only navigation from day one, we would have shipped a trap and not known.

The launch went well. The first support ticket about "where do I find X?" has not arrived yet. I am watching.
