Designing for calm, clarity, and human delight
Designing calm software with care, not churn.
My Story
I started my career as a front-end developer, building marketing sites for small businesses in Lagos. The work was fine, but I kept finding myself more interested in why users bounced than in shipping the next feature.
So I leaned into design. I took every UX course I could afford, ran user interviews on weekends, and slowly transitioned into product design roles. Six years later, I lead design at Calmlabs and consult on calm technology.
On the side, I throw pottery. The rhythmic motion of shaping clay reminds me that meaningful work takes time, patience, and presence — values I bring to every digital experience I create.
Mission
I design products that respect people's attention and time — calm software that does less, but does it well.
Vision
To build a digital world where technology serves humanity by enhancing focus, reducing noise, and creating space for what truly matters — one intentional interface at a time.
Core Values
5 principlesClarity
Every screen should make the next action obvious. No mystery, no detective work.
Accessibility
WCAG 2.1 AA is the floor, not the goal. Design for the full range of human ability.
Craft
Every pixel and every transition matters. The small details compound into the whole.
Sustainability
Less JavaScript, fewer requests, lighter pages. The greenest byte is the one never shipped.
Empathy
Design for the user on a slow phone in a noisy room, not the designer on a fast laptop.

I believe calm is a stance, not a style. A complex dashboard can be calm if it respects attention; a simple landing page can be loud if it uses manipulative patterns. Calm means I design for the person on the other side of the screen — their time, their attention, their cognitive load. It means saying 'no' to features that don't earn their place, and 'yes' to the small details that compound into something good. Software should feel like a thoughtful host — present when needed, quiet when not.— Philosophy
